Hall of Fame Inductees


Since 1989, the Kitchen & Bath Industry Hall of Fame has honored individuals who have contributed to the growth and professionalism of the Association and the kitchen and bath industry as a whole.

Inductees are selected by a standing program committee through member nominations.

O. Leroy ‘Smitty’ Smith

Began his career as a teenager working at his Uncle's appliance store. In the mid-1960's he opened a Kitchen and Bath Distributorship. Although semi-retired he remains an active and huge supporter of our chapter. Voters wrote: "Mr.Smith has been a great mentor and friend to many influential and successful people in our industry."

Laurence E. Trevarrow, Jr. , CKD

Began his career in this industry by working with his father in the family's construction contracting business. After his two year service in the army he opened Trevarrow Baths and Kitchens. IN 2003, now Trevarrow, Inc., his company celebrated its 75th year in business. Larry's mission for his company and staff has always been to be the leader in the appliance industry through integrity and excellence. Voters wrote: " Mr. Trevarrow has always been a leader in our local industry, who has been active and generous to our community as a whole."

Linda M. Welch , CMKBD, ASID

Began her career in Interior Design in 1973 at Runyons Home Interiors. She became our chapter's first member to earn their CMKBD in January 2007. Linda has served numerous position on the board throughout the years. She is an Adjunct Faculty member since 2003 at Baker College Clinton campus. Voters wrote: " Linda Welch has been a wonderful mentor to all who have had her as an Instructor...her working knowledge of the industry gave us the tools to succeed out in the real world!"
